University Accommodation

There is a variety of campus accommodation for students choosing to stay in Worcester throughout their studies.


We hope that you will enjoy your new home in university accommodation and make friends and memories from start to finish during your time living on campus.


If you are a full time student, the University has prepared a document that confirms you are exempt from Council Tax payments for the duration of your studies. 


Payment of rent for university managed accommodation should be made as agreed on your payment plan.

When you are living in university halls, you may use a combination of a physical key and your student ID card for access.


Within university it is understandable that sometimes things go wrong in your accommodation, but there is support available.


At The University we know that breakages can happen. But it is important that you report it as soon as possible.


The Residential Life Team are part of Accommodation Services and are available to help with accommodation queries at the University of Worcester. They can help you settle in, find your way around and can signpost you to University regulations and support services. 


If you need reasonable adjustments made to your room due to a disability, The Disability & Dyslexia Service can agree and arrange these before your arrival.

To do this you will need to declare your disability on your accommodation application and contact the Disability and Dyslexia Service.


If you would like to change your accommodation, we would advise that you speak with a member of the Accommodation Team.


Your student card will give you access to a number of facilities, including some accommodation on campus.


The university offers a wide range of high quality accommodation during the Summer vacation period, from June to early September. 


You will need to find out if you need a TV licence, even as a student, a licence may be required.
