The Careers & Employability Service works with students, graduates, employers and colleagues.
The service supports students in the planning and management of their careers and the development of their employability skills. The team are located on the St. John’s Campus, in the Peirson Study & Guidance Centre, near to firstpoint, where you will also find a range of hard copy resources available.

If you need help with interview techniques, CV writing or improving your career prospects, you can book an appointment with the team for one-to-one support. Appointments can be booked through the myCareer portal on your MyDay pages.

Part-time or holiday work has become an integral part of university life for many students. As well as earning some money, it can also provide you with a valuable opportunity to gain experience, develop your skills, and gather evidence that you can use in your future job applications.
